Coming from the outside of the Computer Science department and the AI research “inner circle”, I have found it challenging to keep up with the field. Very fortunately, being at UC Berkeley, where a vibrant AI research ecosystem exists, has helped me a lot. I have been able to get chances to attend a number of great talks happening around.

Below I list some of the talks that I found interesting, whose videos/slides are also available online, with a short scribing by myself (if it exists). I hope it helps others looking for an entry point into frontier AI research landscape.
