About Me

I am a fifth-year PhD student in the Department of Statistics at UC Berkeley. I am lucky and grateful to be advised by Ryan Tibshirani. From 2015-2021, I did my B.S. in Mathematical Sciences and B.A. in Economics in Seoul National University in South Korea. From 2017-2018, I served in the Republic of Korea Army.

Outside statistics, I enjoy swimming, tennis, running, volleyball, piano, and reading; and I am a three-time winner of Jerzy Neyman Foosball Tournament hosted by the Statistics Graduate Student Association (SGSA).
